A field record of the Gateway The Isle · Evrima Vol. I
North Point: Pangea
Twenty-two animals, twelve months, and a population that is different this week than it was last week.
Most realism servers hand you a document and trust you to remember it. This one does not. Every clause in every profile here has a second form — a predicate the simulation measures a life against — so that "Tyrannosaurus females do not recognise offspring past the juvenile stage" is not a sentence a moderator has to adjudicate, but a rule the world already applies.
That constraint is why the roster stops at the 22 animals The Isle actually ships, and why the 59 signature abilities listed across those animals are extracted from the shipped binary rather than invented. A profile that describes a move the game has never heard of is fiction, and fiction cannot be enforced.
The populations are not fixed either. What kills an animal determines which trait that death tested — predation asks about speed, hide and senses; a drought asks about forage; a fall asks nothing — so a population hunted hard gets faster and lighter, and pays for it in the next Solara. Nothing here is balanced by decree. It is balanced by what has already happened.

Politics, then patience. Most of what happens to you as an Allosaurus happens inside your own group — who leads, who eats first, who breeds this year — and the hunting itself is slow, committed work that only pays off if nobody in the pack loses their nerve. You will spend more time following a bleeding animal than fighting one.

The roster
Ordered by trophic tier, predators first. A dagger marks a dossier written in full; the rest are contract-only for now.

The year
Twelve named seasons, one per month, and twenty-four weather and event types. The world runs the cycle whether anyone is logged in or not.
Two months decide the ecosystem: Solara II, when the water fails, and Gelidus, when the cold removes whatever could not tolerate it. The full almanac →
Entry
The server is whitelisted. Applications open and close on a fortnightly cycle and are read by Scouts. New arrivals carry a forager or hunter tag so the community knows to explain things and be patient with you.
Read the law before you apply. It is short, all of it is enforced, and the page you would read it on is the same file the bot reads.
Dossiers compiled from the species contracts, the shipped binary's ability index, the operator's field documents, and the live evolutionary state. Set in Georgia and JetBrains Mono.
