North Point: Immersive Realism
The law
Everything on this page is read directly from the same file the Discord bot enforces. If a rule is here, it is machine-readable; if it is machine-readable, it is enforced. There is no second, softer version.
Engagement
A Hunt or Engagement begins when a carnivore or omnivore initiates an attack or interaction that aligns with its species profile. It must be conducted as realistically as possible — no victory calls, no exaggerated claims.
- Wait 10 seconds before calling a kill, and only to your own species.
- Stay 8 body lengths clear of an engagement you are not part of.
- The losing party leaves the territory immediately.
Daily initiated hunts
Confrontation
A carnivore deviating from normal hunting behaviour under extreme hunger. Permits hunting outside the species' standard rules.
Triggers below 20% food reserves. Ends when the group has culled the number specified in its profile.
- May invert circadian rhythm (nocturnal -> diurnal or the reverse).
- One starving group member may pull the whole group into the deviation.
Territory
Boundaries
7
body lengths for groups of five or more.
15
body lengths for ten or more.
Not every species claims territory, and each claims it differently. Consult the dossier.
Unresponsive trespassers
Type !T
in global chat with a description. Wait
5 minutes
and until the animal is dead or out of sight before requesting a name.
Continued disregard permits the pack or herd to kill the offender.
Protections
Semi-aquatic
Huntable only on land. Attacking one in water or asleep is forbidden. Protected from large and apex aquatics.
The only semi-aquatic apex on the Isle roster. May hunt apex predators and may kill any species at adolescent or below at any time. Large apex aquatics may in turn hunt it regardless of profile.
Avians
Claim no territory. Nest at high points and leave only to hunt, migrate, find mates or recruit. May not attack semi-aquatics.
Albinos
No group cap, no biome confinement, and cannot be evicted from a territory — but not protected either, and may be killed at any time.
The bullying protocol
An adult aquatic, omnivore or avian predator may displace a visibly smaller or younger animal from a carcass — even in another's territory — by standing near it, calling, mock-attacking or stalking. It may not hunt the animal it bullied, and must leave once fed.
Victim response: friendly call → alarmed call (!fear) → flee at least 5 body lengths
Imprinting
A hatchling solicits a parent figure by sitting or lying down near an adult — of any species. The window runs from hatching to 2 bars into juvenile.
It cannot be transferred and it cannot be reset. An animal that fails to imprint may be killed as a lone vulnerable juvenile.
Survival roles
Awarded and revoked by Scouts against an active profile with a life description in #legacy-posts. Roles are traits that change the rules that apply to you — not cosmetics.

No healing during combat, even against a rule-breaker. Scouts die naturally and return their bones to the Boneyard like anyone else.
Strikes and appeals
Strikes
Minor — 24 h server ban.
Major — 48 h server ban.
Appeals succeed on
- no rule was actually broken
- material evidence was overlooked
- a broken rule went unrecognised or under-penalised
And never on
- wanting a lighter penalty
- clean prior record
- length of good behaviour
